Features to Look for in a Kit:
Regardless of the kit that you select, there are a few features that you should be looking for. These features are:
- Ensure that the kit is specified for use with a Sky+ or Sky + HD Box. Generic computer upgrade kits may not provide the desired results and could potentially damage the system.
- Select a kit that includes full step-by-step instructions, specific to your model of receiver. Even if you will be hiring someone else to install the kit, it is best to select one with complete instructions to avoid any problems.
- Look for kits that offer free technical support. This is especially important if you will be completing the upgrade on your own.
- Choose a kit that comes with a comprehensive warranty. As with any piece of new technology, your new Sky Box Upgrade Kit should have a warranty that suits your needs and alleviates worry in case of a problem.
